01 / Installation
Where will I download Pilot Journey?
Licensed pilots receive the download link and license key by email through Lemon Squeezy.
Which simulator versions are supported?
Pilot Journey is being prepared for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
Can I run the career app on a Mac?
Yes. Run the Pilot Journey Bridge on the Windows machine with MSFS and use the career console on macOS over the local network.
02 / Simulator connection
Does Pilot Journey need to run on the flight-sim PC?
No. The same-PC Windows setup uses local SimConnect. The Bridge supports dual-Windows and macOS-plus-Windows configurations.
What does live telemetry record?
Pilot Journey reads position, altitude, speed, fuel, touchdown, overspeed and stall-warning state for tracking, scoring and automatic flight completion.
Is SimBrief required?
No. The complete career loop still works. SimBrief adds the real OFP, schedule, cruise altitude, fuel figures, alternate and filed route.
03 / Career and scoring
What does the flight score include?
Landing quality contributes 65% and on-time arrival 35% when both are available. Overspeed and stall-warning time can deduct up to 30 points.
Does a low score reduce the payout?
No. The agreed payout is credited in full. The score moves reputation and remains attached to the logbook entry.
Can I fly any aircraft immediately?
No. Nine training tiers, prerequisite licences and aircraft-specific type ratings determine access from single piston through supersonic.
Is the career saved between sessions?
Yes. Pilot Journey is designed around a persistent local career record and logbook.
04 / Airlines and training
How do I qualify for an airline?
Both your pilot level and the prerequisite ratings below the airline's starter tier must pass before you can sign.
Can an airline pay for a type rating?
Signing can grant the operator's starter-fleet rating. It creates a training bond equal to 80% of the tier-unlock cost, which runs down over 30 block hours.
Can I switch airlines?
Yes. Leaving costs a flat $10,000 severance charge plus any remaining training bond. Only one airline contract can be active at a time.
05 / Purchase and license
Is pricing final?
Not yet. The final price, currency, license terms and activation allowance will be announced before sales open.
Who processes the payment?
Checkout, tax handling, license delivery and the download email are managed by Lemon Squeezy.
Where can I read the refund policy?
